Were you playing bridge at the lake this summer or a "few" years ago at university and would you like to relive those carefree times? Then join us for Social Bridge.
We play the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 12:45, after the Club lunch.
We play 16 hands each session, and there is usually quite a bit of hilarity as we all laugh and learn by playing with various partners. It all adds up to an enjoyable afternoon. We welcome players of all levels of experi-ence, and no partner is necessary. In September we play on the 12th and 26th. Put these dates in your calendar and we'll see you soon!
The November Duplicate Bridge will be Friday, November 17 at 12:50 pm only. If you would like an Express lunch of sandwiches, etc., please contact the Office. (Our usual first Friday in the month date is occupied by the Christmas Market.)
Duplicate Bridge is played on the first and third Fridays of the month. However, we will begin on FRIDAY, September 15. This will be followed by games on October 6 and 20. Play begins at 12:50 pm.
Each session, partners are selected at random prior to the game, and all pairs play the same hands. Consequently, you can assess the play of you and your partner according to the group. Winners are acknowledged. It is essential that numbers are accurate so you must register each time you want to play. Reservations may be made by notifying Vivian . Allow time to re-serve your spot or in the event that you must cancel.
Express lunch is available at noon on Fridays. Reservations should be made on the Tuesday prior to the game day by calling the club or signing the reservations book at the club.
Prior experience in Duplicate Bridge is not needed to enjoy an interesting afternoon of bridge. I hope to see you at the bridge tables.
